I dont know which is better but this will be our second time during the first week of Oct. We really enjoyed it last time so here we go...
Value season ends 10/1, Regular season starts 10/2. Price difference is about $23 a night.
You may want to check and see if they added insurance to your package - they tried to do that to me until I questioned the additional cost from this year. They took it off.

We will be at the pop in the beginging ofFeb. Do they ever offer bb to guests in Feb? I don't need to return in Feb, but would love to take advantage of some sort of bb offer.
I just booked the bounceback offer at Pop last night while on the way to the airport to come home. You have to book it by midnight of the day you check out in order to get it. I was told that if they have availability that I can call back and change my dates any time and/or change resorts. Hope this helps. The paper for the bounceback offer was on the table in our room the first day we checked in. From what I can tell it is only good for values and moderates at Pop.
I can see that you have to book the bb by 10/24/08, but what are the dates for 2009 that you can book for the bb free dining??? I can't make out the dates on the flyer that someone posted.
I just called and changed mine. We had it booked for Oct. 2-8, but we moved it and cut a few days off. Now we're going for 3 days after our cruise. We were also able to move to ASMu in a Family Suite so that my parents and sister can join us after the cruise since they're going on the cruise with us as well.

Enjoy those 14 nights! We just got back Saturday from 14 nights at Pop and I must say it was more than enough time. We were all ready to come home this trip. However the time did seem to fly by quickly. If we go back next year it probably will not be for more than 10 days and we will only pick our favorite attractions so that we can enjoy it at a much slower pace. But it was great to have time to fit everything in that we wanted to see including the water parks. I dont know how many times you have been to Disney in the past but if you have not been many times or if you haven't been on an extended trip it may be a great idea to stay the whole 14 nights. This was our 2nd trip but we took my parents with us for their first trip and 14 nights was great to get to see everything we wanted to. It is still a lot of walking and some rushing in order to fit it all in but at least it was slower paced than it would have been had we of gone for less time.
