Bounceback mistake

Hey all! Last August, I booked a free dining BB when staying at POR. It's for Pop for this August coming up. She asked if I wanted to upgrade to regular dining and I said no. I like QSDP. Well, when I called to add my friend to the reservation, I noticed the price was a little higher than what I expected and the CM explained that I had upgraded to the regular dining. I said I only wanted QSDP and she said that she couldn't adjust that, and that she expected that the CM at bounceback will not be able to fix it either, but I could call back to try. I did call back, but didn't have the time to wait, so I hung up. I haven't had the time yet, but I'll likely try Saturday morning again and ask for someone at BB.

What do you think the odds will be for them to be able to adjust my reservation and make it only QSDP?

I just don't want to get my hopes up that it can be fixed if it can't. We usually do one maybe 2 max meals at restaurants, if that. And even then, 1/2 the time we share, or sometimes go with kids meals so the DDP is just not worth it to us.

You can switch bb resorts and change dates......I don't see why it would be a problem changing your dining plan. Good luck.

If you're at a moderate they won't downgrade your dining plan with FD. You can use TS credits as QS.

The price increased if you added a third adult. There's a $15 per night fee. Moderates get the regular plan for free, so there's no upgrade charge.

She's staying at Pop. So she should be getting the quick service plan as part of the deal anyways. It sounds like they upgraded her dining plan, but she didn't want that.

Ah, you're right. I read the POR.

They should downgrade it no problem then.

Do you have the original confirmation they sent you? That should clarify what DP you have. You can also check it on MyDisneyExperience. Hope they're able to fix things up for you.

I have everything, and it does state regular dining plan. I just hadn't noticed it because I didn't ask for it. I am planning to call today, I had wanted to wait until the calls for the new deal died down a little.

Thanks everyone! I am excited to say I that they were able to fix it for us! We have what I originally wanted and now don't have the regular dining plan. We have the QSDP just as I asked in the first place! So much better suited for us! YAY!
