Bounce back?

We are headed to the world and staying onsite President's week. Is there a bounceback in rooms this year? We have never done one b/c DH always says we won't be back. But we always are so I figure we should book ahead. : )

We were just in Disney December 11-16. Here is a photo of the bounceback card that was in our room in case anyone needs to see the blackout dates, etc.

The offer was for 35% off of Deluxe resorts but I know that a 30% off of the mods was offered as well as that is what I booked. Not sure about the values as I didn't ask.

You DO NOT have to BB to the same resort/category you are currently staying at. Other DISers have reported the Values are 25%, Mods 30%, Deluxe 35%. You have to book BEFORE check out, and put down a deposit. Call extension 8844 from your resort room to check availability.

do you know if the discount covers the entire stay if the offer is good for the first night of checkin or is it only good on those dates? For instance. If we booked Nov. 15-21 is the discount only good on the 15 or the entire stay?

I believe it is just good for the nights shown and would not cover the duration of your stay even though the first night was included in the discount. This is different than Free dining, where it does cover the whole stay

Thanks for reposting the BB info , I can now price out various resorts for a fall or christmas time trip, not sure if I can convince DH about doing a second trip but I want to be prepared best time will be when he is happy at Disney and has that I don't want to leave feeling

Of course you never know, but usually the first time any dates for the next year (in this case 2013) will be seen is when the BB changes (usually sometime in August) to a FD BB that allows you to book a package a year ahead for the next years FD dates. Then after that BB FD package expires (usually sometime in Oct/Nov) there usually is a room only BB that starts that includes next years dates.

So to sum all those "usually's" up - sorry, but you probably won't see any 2013 BB dates when you go in March/April. But you never know with Disney! They could change it all around this year!

We are always spring break travelers, so we never usually can take advantage of BB b/c our stays are always a year apart. We go to WDW this April knowing that we will be returning January 2013 and it frustrates me that WDW doesn't have a BB that could entice me to book onsite for early January. Those of us that travel in the spring/early summer only have the option of rebooking for the same calender year, whereas those who travel fall/winter get to choose from dates for the whole next calender year.... I am sure it is because they won't issue BB until the next year's rates are released, but if I knew I could get 35% off a deluxe in January, I would consider switching from Wyndham Bonnet Creek for our January trip.
