Hello,
If we book a bounce back offer for 2 weeks together (for example Sept. 1-14), can we later cancel some of the dates, or will that void our entire bounce back offer?

If available, we're planning on booking a bounce back offer for next year during our upcoming trip. We usually go the same week every year, however there is a good possibility that we may have to go the year before next year, but we won't know for sure until the winter. Can I book both weeks in one reservation (I don't think they'll let me book 2 bounce back offers for consecutive weeks) and then cancel the week that we won't need later? Will we still be able to keep the orginal bounceback for the week we need or will that void it?

TIA!

How much is the discount and if free dinning comes out can u get it as well

Works like other discounts with different tiers of resorts getting higher discounts--such as Deluxe 35%, Moderate 25%, Value 20%. That is only an example, but typical. I have no idea about dining offers, they never make sense for my particular situation.

I'm sorry OP I don't know the answer to your question.

I know I will be corrected but I'm pretty sure....

The bounce back offer can be modified later. If it's two consecutive weeks that you are uncertain about, why not book for the duration of both then reduce the days you don't need?

However, free dining is ALWAYS dependent on paying rack rate for whatever room you're in... no double dipping on discounts. If you book the bounce back as a ROOM ONLY then you can cancel your bounce back for a full refund of your deposit up to the week before. If however you purchase a package, then the full payment 45 days out rules apply.

Hope that helps.

agreed (with the bolded and the rest of the post)

We've booked BB and then ended up changing weeks completely. As long as there is availability there is no problem (in my experience).

I think the maximum package duration you can book is 10 days, so that doesn't cover both weeks.

We booked a bounceback offer last year for this upcoming Sept. We were able to add one day (8 nights to 9 nights) to our package months after we originally booked the bounceback, so I know some modifications can be made...

No you can only have one discount at a time (so BB OR free dining).

OP yes you can alter the ressie as much as you want as long as it falls within the bounceback dates. One year we booked our BB for Sept, but had to move it. The bb dates included dates in Dec, so we moved the trip till then without an issue. I think they may be phasing out BB discounts though. We used to always get them, but the last few years, they werent offered during our weeks. :sad2:

I think you can book a stay for much longer. Some at FW stay months. Also think about all the 21 day packages for those from the UK.

Its just that the longest ticket you can get is 10 days with starting to look at an AP.

Do you have to get a special card in your room or can anyone staying there book a bounce back offer?

True, unless the BB IS a free dining offer (like ours this year).

Hmm... You're probably right, but I'm not sure how this works with some of the BB offers with packages like free dining. I'm not sure they would have let me book my free dining bounceback offer for more than 10 days. (but I didn't ask either). Like I said though, I might be mistaken. BB offers that are room discounts might be handled differently.

If you get a bounceback offer, you will have a flyer in your room with the specifics.

Bounce back offers are now listed inside the booklet presented at check-in rather than on a card in your room!

I booked a BB in May and just changed the dates last week for our October trip. Compared to the current rack rates, we got 25% off.

Just wanted to add that if you don't see any information about a BB call extension 8844 from your room before checking out to see if a BB is being offered during your stay.

You can only book for current guests staying at a WDW resort - no booking for other people not with you - but some DISers have had DH book one room, DW another.

You will have to leave a deposit when booking ($200 if it's a Free Dining package for certain dates next year - or one night's stay if it's a room only discount).

It will be one offer or the other. In the past it has been room only offer for certain dates, then usually sometime in August it changes to a FD offer to book ahead for the next year's FD dates, then sometime in Oct/Nov it changes to another room only offer (this is the one that should have certain dates through 2014 on it IF it's like previous years).

And some periods between there is no BB offer at all.

Here's some copies of previous BB's, but like NHKristy76 says now they are in your booklet. Even though certain categories are advertised you can ask about all (example shows Deluxes and Mods, but Values are also included when calling from your room):

This is a copy of what resort guests got last Sept/Oct - which was to be able to book a return Free Dining offer a year ahead for this year 8/18-9/13/13 (9/26/13)

So, if I am there in December with DH, DS and DSD....I can't book a bounceback offer for next year for my, my DS and my mom?? Is that what I read from a PP??

That will stink if that is true..... :worried:

Now that I think about it they would almost have to put a limit on the length of the stay.

Its just that you can book and stay at WDW for well as long as you like or until you run out of money. You just have to check out and back in again every so often. Like every two months or so. If you didn't you could claim residency.

You could book a Bb in your name with those people. You just can't book a bounce back for someone not currently in your room and NOT include yourself.
