Bounce Back Question

If, if, if I booked a teeny tiny 3-4 day trip in May do you think I would be offered "bounce back" so we could come back in November to see the x-mas decorations?

We were there in Sept for free dining and were not offered bounce back, I really didn't know much about it and didn't think to inquire at the front desk.

AND more importantly exactly what is bounce back?

Bounceback is only offered for Late August thru Sept. stays...slow time for Disney.
