Bounce-Back for 2009 Free Dining & AP

Okay, my DH and I will be going for the free dining later in September. I have read where we will have an opportunity to sign up for the 2009 Free Dining as a Bounce Back Offer.

We have 8 day PH tickets for this years trip ... we are also planning on camping at Ft W in March but "normally" only go into the parks a couple of days.

Now what I'm thinking is, if we enjoy this year and think we want to go again, we may want to spend the money to upgrade our tickets to an Annual Pass. If we do that before we leave, it would start with our first day of use (20 Sept) ... if we plan to bounce back in 2009 for free dining would we be able to get the package using our AP. We would, of course, schedule our trip for the week PRIOR to them expiring (i.e. Week of 13-29 Sept).

Will this work? Can we sign up for the 2009 BB Free Dining w/ AP ... thus saving us from making a ticket purchase?

You cannot purchase a free dining package without tickets. The free dining promotion is limited to a room/tickets package only.

You'd need to buy at least a one-day ticket with your package.

Hmm, but isnt it true that the 1 day ticket you must buy for each member of your party never expires??? So as long as you don't loose your keycard, you have a ticket to use after your annual pass expires??? Actually you would have two one for the 2008 trip and one for the 2009 tirp. This thread has me thinking of doing the same thing as we check in on the 24th but wont start going to the parks until the 27th... and are going to book bouncback for earlier next year.

I upgraded our tickets to annual passes last year and then booked the free dining. It saved a little bit. Had planned to come back again in January (we have a time share in Orlando) but things came up. You must buy the one day ticket, but it will not expire and can be used later and upgraded later.
