Totally agree. It's VERY likely that the ENTIRE South wing will become DVC. Not just a marketing decision....
DVC pretty much requires a Property Description - as in, what exactly is "yours". Let's focus on just the ROOF of the South Wing... we could bring in Heating, Air, Hallways.... Just the ROOF for now.
The issue - convert half the floors.... who is responsible for the roof?
While the whole thing COULD be a "shared facility"? Oh lord - I would not want to be the accountant trying to figure that out

. Easier to make it ALL DVC, then rent out WDW owned points.
The only surprise to us was the "conversion" of an ATTACHED BUILDING - We thought that the GF would do this first, as they a DETACHED BUILDING model.
