When we were assigned this room at Boulder Ridge (1 bedroom villa), I really wasn’t able to find too many photos of it. We just got back from our stay, so I wanted to post some photos and some feedback about the room in hopes it helps some others out!
Absolutely loved the location of the room. It was a few rooms down off the bank of elevators that are right in the atrium of Boulder Ridge. It was super quiet and made for quick walks to the bus stop, pools, and the Wilderness lobby. It is also the top floor.
The room is super bright. In the living room there are three large windows along with a sliding glass door leading to the first of the two balconies. This one is not covered, but it has the railings where you can sit and see through to everything. The balcony had two chairs and a small side table. The second balcony is off the main bedroom. This one is covered and it has a wall instead of railings, so if you sit down you don’t see anything. Really not a big deal at all since you have the other balcony. All windows and balconies have view of the courtyards, Boulder Ridge pool and lake. Was just really peaceful no matter where you looked. From the balcony side of the room, you could see the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom. Since you also had the lake view, you also had the nightly view of the Electrical Water Pageant.
This room does sleep four. The bedroom has a king bed and the living room has a pull out couch that’s a queen bed. The pillows and blanket are stored in the coffee table that’s easily moved around. The kids loved it.
There was a ton of storage space throughout the villa as well. We had room to spare even with everything we had to pack for two adults and two children. The entrance area is also big enough to keep a single or double stroller unfolded.
