Hi,

We are going to be staying in a studio this summer and are leaning toward Boulder Creek. We need a studio that sleeps 5. Is there a pool with a water slide open? With the construction what are we going to be missing out on that is normally open but closed due to construction? Is there somewhere to find all this information?

Thank-you!

The main pool on the hotel side is open and there is a small slide there. The new Villas pool is scheduled to open this summer but no specific date was given although no slide going in to it.

The nature walking trail to FW is not open but the paved one still is. I don't think the boat rentals are open but supposedly the bike rentals are available but have been moved from their normal home. All the restaurants and the bars are open too.

Also GF, BW, BC, and Poly studios sleep 5. Although I wouldn't stay in any of those with 5 people. Even some 1 BR are not up to the task of fitting 5 comfortably. Good Luck.

My take is to skip the construction and stay somewhere else, why stay there if you don't have to? Wouldn't it be better to wait a year or so and stay at a resort that is fully operational.

Thanks for the replies. We splurged and are staying at the Poly. We were trying to save on points and thus the Boulder Creek consideration. We paid cash for some nights and are now Poly bound. Very exciting!
