Help, Disboarders! We've already planned a cruise for our 30th anniversary, a family trip to the UK, and a visit to F&W at the Beach Club in the fall for DH and myself. However, I'm trying to squeeze in one more visit to Florida this summer, so our college age son can visit his grandma in Clearwater and then continue on for three nights at WDW. As you can imagine, the vacation budget is kind of tapped out already. We usually stay deluxe and two rooms at a moderate seem to come out as more than a one bedroom at Boulder Ridge. So, how much will the WL construction interfere with our enjoyment of the resort by the end of August? Will all the pools and restaurants be open? What can we expect if we book there? Thanks in advance.

Will all the pools and restaurants be open?

Unknown. No open dates have been announced for Roaring Fork or the "quiet" pool, which is only going to be "quiet" in that it won't have a waterslide. The new villas open in July, so IF the new pool isn't done by then, the other pool should be assumed to be crazy overcrowded. It hasn't been because half the main Lodge has been vacant so far.

Thanks! My son is 6'2 and asked us not to book a one bedroom villa again because he was too scrunched up on the sofa bed last time. This sort of made the decision for us. We booked two rooms at AKL.
