and they say Disney on the back, but they also say China. Just making sure that these are okay to trade in the parks. We are new to this and I want to make sure we do it right!! Thanks!

As long as they have Disney copyrighted on the back of them and they are metal (not plastic), they are ok to trade in the parks. It says 'China' on them since that is where they are manufactured. Hope this helps!

Also they cannot be a name pin. But those are probably not what you have.

Thank Goodness! They are metal but I started to get a little worried. For some reason, I was thinking these pins would be manufactured in the US, yeah right!

Why can one not trade plastic pins in the park? If the person trading wants a plastic pin, why not allow it?

Don't some of the Pin Trader dolls come with plastic pins?

What if a pin is altered, but there is no copyright infringement (such as replacing the thick stud on the back of the plastic pin trader Mickey pins with a real pin back).

If someone wants to trade a plastic pin with you they are certainly welcome to. The CMs are not allowed (let alone required) to accept one as a trade.
