Bought Plane tickets....

Well, I've done it........ Finally got DH to give in on another trip to Disneyland. We are going for Spring Break Mar. 29-April 4. Just bought the plane tickets yesterday - Alaska Airlines Portland (PDX) to Long Beach (LGB) $89 each way. Also rented the car through them. Now I just need to wait for a nice juicy AP rate for resort hotels. Here's hoping for some sunshine!!!!

But I might not hold your breath for a juicy deal from the resort hotels, since it's spring break and they probably/maybe won't need a deal to get people there. Then again, who knows?

We are adding another trip in june because that airfare is too good to pass up!! Glad you guys got another trip in! But I agree with molly...spring break should be crowded and I wouldn't guess that they'll give out a great rate for the hotels. But who knows!

That's an amazing flight price! Just to make you feel better, I have been pricing and pricing and finally felt like I needed to make the reservations. Dh and one Ds are flying on frequent flyer tickets. Me and the other two kids price to fly to DL - $1300 I could have brought it down a bit by flying into LAX, but just decided to make things easier for myself by flying into SNA. We will be there same time as you - have fun planning.

Tink lover, we will look for you. I don't blame you for passing on flying into LAX, that place is a zoo. As far as the AP rates go, we have been there at this time before and the prices have never been as high as the AP hotel chart says they are. I'm hoping they bring them down a bit. You would think that with the economy the way it is, they would lower the cost of hotels. Maybe they don't care if we stay onsite or not. After the first of the year, we will check prices and make an alternative hotel choice if necessary. Sorry for the previous post - I somehow got lost in the edit.
