Went to Kohl's and they had video games for 17.99 and I had 15% off my entire order couldn't pass it up:sunny:

Good for you! I bought my first Christmas present for this year the second week of January. I got DH a pair of Hush Puppy leather slippers for $5.00 at Kohls. I have a good pile of presents already and everyone thinks I'm crazy!

I bought something for each of my kids on Sunday. I was watching the QVC Christmas in July sale, lol!

I bought 5 toys today at SuperTarget for Christmas for DS, couldn't pass up the markdowns:

3 Packages of Penny Racers - orig. $4.99, I paid $1.24/each
1 Bionicle - orig. $7.99, I paid $1.74
Hot Wheels Yu Gi Oh Cars - orig. $9.99, I paid $2.48

Just little things but if I bought these things are their regular prices I would of paid about $33.00 instead I paid less than $10.00, can't beat that.

It feels good to have some Christmas presents already.

I have a box of presents for the kids in the room ready and waiting for Christmas.

Me too. I have been shopping all year. Hit some great sales at Target and KMart.

The "Kohl's Cares for Kids" item right now are kid's books written by Jaimee Lee Curtis. They are only $5 for each book, and they have 4 different ones. The books are fabulous for girls in about the 4-5 age range. The books normally go for about $15 each.

2 nieces done!

I'm usually more done at this point in the year. But our DD is probably going to get cold hard cash for a camp she wants to go to next year. So - cash is an easy - "no time at the mall" type of gift.

I haven't actually bought anything yet but I'm starting my list. I'll be done by early October.

I was just mentioning to DS9 that his best bet this year will be to ask "Santa" for gift cards to various stores. It sounded like a good idea to him.

Then it's just finding time to wrap them. Buying is the easy part. :D

I'm stock piling stuff from AVON for my girls stocking stuffers. I usually spend a fortune on them but with the prices on jewelry and make-up items I can get a little more for a little less.

I am almost done Christmas shopping. I have one or two more gifts for friends to buy, one for my broher and then everyone other than my daughter is done. I bought her a lot of things at Amazon clearance and the Disney store clearance but once that catalog from toys r us comes in Nov and she circles things she wants I will then be done. I don't even mind that one, its easy, can order all the toys r us stuff online and its sent right here. Other than that I don't shop after Black Friday. I do go out black Friday and buy some things for my mom and myself at Macys...they put out 10.00 off any order coupons and I get a stack of 15 papers or so and pick up items that are close to 10.00 and get them very cheap. I get Dearfoam slippers for 84 cents last year. Shirts for under 1.00, nightgown for 2.00....I LOVE those coupons..I get tothe store at opening at 6am and am out of there by 8 and don't go back to the mall until after the day after Christmas and then pick up all the Hoilday Yankee Candles for half price for people next Chistmas !

I've got a bunch of stuff for ds already stockpiled (thanks to Amazon clearance and Disney Store clearance ::yes:: !) He really loved the buzz lightyear bubble blower when we were there a few months ago and dh and I took a trip without him to the mall and they had them marked down to $5.99! I think it was originally $25-30 so I had to grab it for him.

I've also been stockpiling t-shirts for him and I for our vacation this year. I pick up a couple at $3.99 each time we go and right now he has about 6 new t-shirts for the trip. Considering I'm sure they are around $20 at Disney this well save us in the long run.

Half of my list is finished and I've spent about $350 so far. I'm proud of that, because I have a large list.

Last week, we were in Maine on vacation. I stopped in Kittery at the Lenox outlet. I had a 20% off coupon and got Christmas canape dishes for all of the aunts and uncles, plus the 2 teachers for $4.40 each. They were Gorham crystal. I bought the Grandmas Lenox candy dishes that were encrusted in Swarofski crystals for about $15 each, and a large Santa Lenox cookie jar that was originally $100 for $27 for one of our friends. Three of the secretaries will be getting Lenox ornaments that came to $3.59 each and I picked up two crystal divided serving dishes for a friend and our hair dresser for about $6. Not bad for things that look like I spent so much more.

LLBean provided a number of other items that were added to the list that had already added up to about $150 spent.

In June, Benetton had a tent sale that allowed me to buy complete outfits for our neices and nephews for $20-25 each.

Me... always on the lookout for a bargain.
