Bought in at BLT

My wife and I just purchased at BLT. The process was really easy and all of the Disney reps were very nice.

It was mentioned in another post to use our Disney Visa for the downpayment to get the reward points. NEVER thought of this! Guess I should have read the boards a little closer!!!

Yes, we used our Disney Visa for our initial purchase and each add-on. You can accumulate some rewards/points on your Disney Visa Card and use the reward points towards your dues if you want (if you plan on paying annually). Of course, you can use them in WDW, DCL, etc. too.

I'm not sure where you are in the buying process. If you made a minimal downpayment over the phone but haven't paid in full yet, you probably can call back and put more of the payment on your Disney Rewards Visa card.

I bought BLT in August, used my Visa to pay off my contract to collect Avion points, and then transferred the balance to a "much lower then financing" Line of Credit...and in doing so have a free flight to Florida!!

Unfortunately, it is too late! We mailed back the contracts earlier this week. Thanks for the idea. As someone else mentioned, we will use it to pay the MF's.
