it kept sliding from the back to the front and pulled on my neck. I think it was the material it was made from. I think I would prefer my fanny pack, which holds less and is more comfy or my small backpack. Anyone else experience this??

I bought one for my trip this year and I ended up using it as a shoulder bag after the first couple of days. Unfortunately, I didn't like it as much as I thought I would based on the reviews I saw on the board.

Oh well, it'll get used here and there, but definitely won't be my main touring bag. The search continues for my perfect bag!

I am still searching for the right bag for me, but I did get a baggallini messenger from ebags, and I'm keeping it just in case I don't find anything else that works as well. I love how lightweight it is, and that it *can* hold a lot if I need it to, though it will only be holding the bare necessities b/c I'll keep the bulk of the supplies in a backpack in my stroller.

I did notice that when I test packed it, the stap rode up near my neck. If I end up using the bag, I'm going to put some type of shoulder pad on it so I don't end up in pain. There's no way I can wear a shoulder bag at Disney -- I need my hands free wit my daughter, and even when I didn't have her, I wore my bags cross body. Also, I'm bringing along a few extra bags I already have just in case I'm miserable with the bag I bring ... I have a $13 sling bag from Target and an old mini backpack I've had for over 10 years that I'll stick in my luggage so I have some options.

Mine rubs my neck so I was thinking of buying seat belt pad that I saw at walgreens. The pad is meant to keep a seat belt from rubbing on the neck so I thought it may work. It is made of a soft material.

What fabric was yours? I ordered the crinkle nylon after seeing it at a store. It was heavier than the rip stop material and cheaper than the microfiber. I liked that the strap was soft and I'm hoping it won't be irritating after a day in the park.

I have a Bagallini made from the rip stop material and did not like it, for the same reason as the OP. It really irritated my neck where it rubbed. I never carried it after that one trip.

I prefer my old nylon WDW backpack that I bought several years ago in the WL gift shop or a Vera Bradley back pack. I also have a small cream color leather backpack that I bought from a seller on ebay that I like. It has a ton of little pockets/organizers, plus a big center section. If I don't need to carry very much, I absolutely love my Overland Equipment Placer bags. They are fantastic for organizing and hold a pen, Tide pen, hand sanitizer, tickets/creditcards/IDs, a camera, park maps, small spiral notebook, and cell phone with room left over. I usually seem to wind up using the Overland Equipment Placer the most. It goes across body, but you never know it's on.
