So, are you still in heaven! The closing is another waiting game. But soon it'll be over and we'll officially be owners!

I'm so psyched. The only problem is. We are giving next year's trip to both sets of GP's for Christmas, so we can't tell anyone. Thank goodness for my friends at the Disboards. (Besides, who else understands this better?)

At the risk of incurring the wrath of many people on this board, BWV is our favorite even though we own at SSR.

When we bought it boiled down to the 10 extra years that SSR offered adn the fact that the times of the year we go to Disney we didn't think we'd have trouble reserving at BWV.

I know some of the posters here will be angry at that, but don't scream, the other beauty of DVC is the option of staying at different resorts. So far we've stayed at BCV, BWV, have a OKW scheduled for spring break and are looking forward for our first trip to SSR.

I'm confused (that happens a lot around here )...but, why would people be angry at that??

I own at BWV (and am in the closing process for VWL points...Yea!!!)...and, there is sometimes so much "my resort is better than your resort" going on...I REALLY like hearing that!!! (especially since I bought "sight unseen" and haven't been "home" yet"!!

Are you thinking that people will be mad that you want to stay somewhere else? Well...that's what the "home advantage" is for!!

Now, I will be the first one to tell you, that I am not particularly "thrilled" that DVC would build one resort with only 138 accomodations, and another one with 850+...I really don't think that is fair to either set of owners...but, I would CERTAINLY not be upset with the people who bought!!!

I hope that you find MANY years that you can get into BWV (or whatever resort you like) without ANY problems!! I can't wait to go "home" this Christmas...and, if my gut instinct is right....I may want to "invade" OKW a few times over the next 38 years!!!

Hmmmm....but, then again....maybe I'll just need to "add-on" there!!!
