bought an add-on at BLT

Well, I decided to go for it and add some points at BLT.So, I added 150.. So excited- we just love BLT!..I have been contemplating this since last summer.. We own at BC, OKW and AKV. We are rather new owners- will only be 2 years in June but we have had several stays already.. Last July, we had our 1st stay at BC- just a 2 nighter was planned as we like to resort hop....Oh, we were so disappointed... In fact, we only stayed one night- I called member services and we moved to OKW again. It was shocking that we were so disappointed. BC hotel is our fave and I thought we would love BC- they were the first points I bought and I even bought direct because I wanted them so bad. I think the dissapointment came from the size of rooms, how hard to get to room, etc..... WE are OKW lovers and BC just isn't OKW.. Anyway,during last summer, we were able to book a night at BLT.. My children loved it as much as I did- I fell in love during a solo trip in April. So, the kids and I discussed that I thought we should get BLT.. I was going to do this at the beginning of new year but seems now is the time...... Now, another question- we are financing etc... When do points go into system? After I send back all paperwork? WE will be at WDW next week and I explained to guide that it was possible, mail could overlap trip and should I just do there.. He said- well if you want to take time out- otherwise just do when you get back- I'll tell them may take a little extra time.. Now, I may want to book something before the time advantage is up so wondering if I should try and make the paperwork take priority or just be relaxed about it.... I did give deposit on Disney CC over phone last night.

I know for us, as soon as they had our deposit, our account was setup the same day.

Likewise, I recently bought add-on points at BLT myself and the points were added to my account overnight.

Welcome Home, neighbor! For our last add on the points were in our DVC account within an hour. After Disney confirms the credit card charge the points are added to your account. Logon onto the MS website and check your account. You should see another contract on your record for BLT.

Well, now, I'm not sure if I should be getting annoyed or not.. I thought I had remembered that the last add-on I did was almost instant.. That is one reason I made the first post. Well, I talked to guide again. Well, I got his voicemail and then we played telephone tag and he left me one.. ( BTW- this is a new guide that I was just assigned.. When I called last week to get info I found out my previous guide was gone but he is a senior guide).. SO, his message said something like he had to get a manager's signature to ok the webcast price or something.. Should be done maybe today or tommorow? Now, we know the dvc system will be down tomorrow. I guess a few more days will probably not make a big difference although I want to make some Food and wine Res w/ 11 mos and summer ones while I still have th plus 7 month adavantage.. But, I'm anxious to see it show up.

I would ask your guide to make the ressie for you. A lot of the time they have a little extra pixie power in getting those hard to get reservations.
