I heard that Whispering Canyon Cafe has some fancy milk shake flavours like Cotton Candy etc.

Since you get free refills on the milk shakes there, can you switch flavours or do you have to stick with the flavour you order first?

Would love to try the Cotton Candy, but I usually prefer chocolate milk shakes, so I don't think I would want to drink several glasses with Cotton Candy shake :-)

I believe they do have some fancier flavors, we were just there about 2 weeks ago but dont remember all the flavors. I believe you can change flavors. But we have never found out because one shake is more than enough for us!! This time, DH did order a chocolate shake. He even shared it with DS2 and that was plenty. Last trip, we both ordered them and one was MORE than enough. Thats because they serve you more than enough food (the skillet) and the DP includes dessert!!(which we actually refused this visit, too full!). I think they do call it the bottomless shake to make it seem like a great deal, but Im betting most people dont find out because one is enough!!:lmao:

We'll eat there the first night, after our transatlantic flight, don't think I'll have a full menu, maybe only a salad and the shakes, so I probably could drink more than one.

Yes you can switch flavors. A word of advice though, at least in our situation, it takes forever to get the second one so I would order it after you get your first one. We ordered our second flavor at the beginning of our meal and didn't receive it until after we had paid for our meal. Of course this varies by server but I know it's time consuming to make milkshakes (at least it was in the restaurants I've worked in).

The dreamsicle flavor is my absolute fave!! We all ordered a 2nd shake but weren't able to finish them.

Dreamsicle sounds interesting too. Is this a regular flavor they have there or a daily special? Also didn't see Cotton Candy flavor on the menu but read about it in a restaurant review.

They put a lot of whipped cream on the top, which makes them even heavier! Try ordering it without the whipped cream and you'd be able to fit a second one - maybe! Or ask for the last one to go!

Is the shake worth the price? Personally, I have trouble finishing just one because they can be too rich. But it sure is alot of fun trying! LOL

BUMP!

Do they still have all these flavors? The menus I've been reviewing just say chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry.

We were there in September and they only have chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. I believe this is because they switched the kind of shake they serve. The kind we got was a very thick, from a machine type of shake - think McDonald's. I got chocolate and it was vanilla with chocolate syrup in it (mine was not mixed well - the chocolate was all at the bottom). I think because of this, they had to limit the flavors to the syrups available. I think they do the shakes like this now since it's easier because they are bottomless.

But, we were able to get it as our drink and still get dessert. And WCC is the only place where you can get shake re-fills.

No one ever made it to a second shake! It's one of those things that sounds fantastic--ALL THE MILKSHAKE YOU CAN DRINK! but in reality, very few people can do it. Great marketing.

Our favorite resort is WL but I'm not enthused with WCC....but wife likes it there...she gets a meal and I get the shakes.....last trip there I had 3 shakes and they asked if I wanted a 4th for the road....you bet I did......you can switch flavors....but I stick with the chocolate.....they are not mixed thoroughly but that's how I like them and are thick....straw is useless, spoon works better and the roadie they give you is in a plastic cup.....can't beat if for the price.....

I believe it is chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and the flavor of the day. The night we ate there it was caramel. I had 2. I agree they are not mixed well. Also they are def. more of a McD's type shake.

I agree with the flavor of the day comment. I think it makes it easier than stocking all the syrups.

I have tried cotton candy (SWEET! think vanilla plus sugar), orange (mmmm), chocolate orange (yes they will mix flavors), and banana (gross:scared: like circus peanuts candy in a cup).
