Seems like I have seen this before and I think I asked last year, but for the life of me can't find it, but can someone please tell me if it would be alright to put a few bottled waters in our bag to take into Seaworld. We do it all the time at Disney, just wondering if they let you here as well???
Thanks!:)

They are going to check whatever you bring in.As long as its not booze you should be fine:thumbsup2

I was at another theme park last week one in virginia (won't name it) and they would not allow me to bring in my own stuff. They said i could in picnic area only... BLAH :(

sorry that happened, I understand. There is a few parks we've went to before that wouldn't allow anythng besides baby bottles!
Disney has always been great about it though, so hoping SeaWorld is the same. I can understand not bringing in a whole meal, but a few bottles of water and a couple snacks to me shouldn't be a big deal, not like we won't eat lunch there and buy souvies, so they will get plenty of our money!!;)

We just came back and they didn't give us any problems about having a bottle of water. Not sure about snacks and such, but we had a bottle each.

Yup, water bottles are a-okay!

The parks would have to be /crazy/ to deny bottled water to folks in the insanely hot Florida summer sun!

A few music festivals here I'd been to experimented with banning outside bottled water... they ended up regretting it when folks started piling into the first aid tent with heat exhaustion.

Snacks are usually fairly under the radar, too. Technically, no outside food & drink (other than baby foods) are allowed... but as long as you're not trying to bring in coolers full of food or a whole picnic lunch in your backpack, they'll generally overlook a couple packs of crackers & cheese or mini bags of potato chips or the like. As long as it doesn't look like you're trying to smuggle your whole day's worth of meals in, they're usually pretty cool.

But that's subject to who is working the gate... some folks might be more strict than others.

Oh.. and by the way... they do have a picnic area outside of both Sea World (it's by the kennels) and Aquatica (it's just out front), if you'd like to put a whole lunch in a cooler in your car and come outside to eat.

=)

We brought in small empty water bottles and filled them from the bubblers inside the park. Less weight in the fanny pack!

Was it Busch Gardens OR King's Dominion? We're heading to one of those 2 this summer so it would be great to know which on to avoid ;)

Thanks! LOL

See you all at Sea World this weekend!

King's Dominion allows bottled water. I went both last year and a few weeks ago and didn't have any problems.

We were at Busch Gardens over Memorial day & brought in water, snapple & snacks. No problems.

I think by law they have to allow them if you're bringing water in for medical purposes for a child, yourself, etc.

Yes they do need to allow you to bring water by law. Of course they can ask to make sure it's water and not vodka or something but other than that they have to let you have it. Many people have medical conditions where they need it so they can't tell you you can't.
