I'm wondering if it is ok to take a bottle of wine or other glass bottled alcohol in your carry on? (not to drink on the plane but at the destination)

Should it be transferred to a plastic bottle?

Or is it not allowed at all?

Any info appreciated.
Thanks!

There should not be a problem with this. Just wrap it well.

Yes! I've been doing this for YEARS! As posted, make sure you wrap it up good... hate to have stuff soaked in booze when u arrive!:earseek: We have NEVER been questioned about bringing alcohol with us,... although oddly enough,... my brothers Lysol can was confiscated! His lock was picked on his "checked" baggage and they left a note stating it was not allowed in luggage.Weird, huh? ( Mine, was left alone in my luggage... just lucky I guess):p

we'll be sure to wrap it up good.

thanks for advice :teeth:

Is it better to keep it in our carry on, or should we put it in our checked luggage?

I do both, but, mostly in the checked baggage.
