We decided to jump in and Join last week!
DW and I got the White box Monday and already have the forms filled out.
Just need to sign the one form in front of a Notary tomorrow. We even booked some of our Developer Points this morning!
We did 300 (160/140) points at AKL.
We just wanted to say thanks to all the great members here and the really great informative posts. I cant imagine making this decision without all the great knowledge we garnished from the DIS boards and other DVC sites. We are really looking forward to all the great DVC years ahead.
For those of you still making your decision, a few points that allowed us take the leap.
1. We love WDW
2. We could afford it, financed just a minor portion for a one year term.
3. We were tired of staying at value or moderate resorts (we still like POR though)
4. We fell in love with the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
5. We are able to book our vacations months, even years, in advance.
6. We Love WDW
7. We went into this looking at DVC not as an investment but rather prepaid vacation savings plan.
8. We consider DVC a luxury albeit a much deserved one!
