Boston Vans Warped Tour

Hi Everyone!

DH has agreed to take DD(14) to this event. Wondering if anyone has any info about these events. It will be at the Comcast Center and time is 1PM. does that mean grounds open at one? or go grounds open early? Will DH be able to get a beer (or 2,3,4???) I'll be dropping them off and picking them up? Any driving hints to avoid the traffic?

For the pick up...

at the end of the concert, have them walk to a gas station just outside the venues entrance (there are sidewalks). meet them there, you wont be the only one waiting...it's kind of the unofficial parents pick up spot. Keeps you from going into the parking area and getting stuck in all the traffic exiting.

You might want to warn your DH that beer is $9!!!! at the Comcast Center. I was there a few weeks ago and nearly died when I saw the price. That was for a Bud Light bottle. Draft beer went for the bargain rate of $8.

Thanks - We'll definitely plan to do this. Because it's an all day event, and I think DH will wear out before the end, it will still be helpful to have them walk there.

I've since found out that they changed gate opening time to 11AM. We'll plan to arrive at 10:30, but I think there will still be alot of traffic. Any alternate route to take to avoid some of the traffic? Or am I worrying too much?We'll be coming from the west.
