I'll be traveling to Boston the week after next and I'm trying to find a reliable shuttle service to get me to/from the hotel and Logan Airport. I've checked the services listed on the Airport website and, from that, a company called Easy Transportation looks pretty good. But, never having been to Boston before, I'm not sure who's really reliable. They don't appear to have the same Super Shuttle company that runs here in L.A..

Anyone have experience with a good shared van shuttle service to/from Boston Logan Airport? Any help is greatly appreciated! TIA! :sunny:

My hotel is in the heart of Boston. Near Boston Common. Would a taxi maybe make more sense in this case? According to Google Maps, it's only about a 4 mile trip. There will be 2 of us to split the cost.

Conceirge in your hotel can give you a better idea as to whether you should go with a cab vs a shuttle service. Wait...if you are under 5 miles, I am going to guess that this hotel will shuttle to Logan for FREE. Call them now and inquire.

***I recently needed to take a cab to my dental office here in the OC which is 2 miles away...it was $10.00 one way. I WALKED home after my appt. ::yes:: So I am thinking it will be $20.00 or so to go 4 miles in a cab. OUCH!

Already checked the hotel website and they don't offer a shuttle. The concierge will be happy to set us up, but I'd prefer to just set up the round-trip in advance myself.

Just hoping someone has used a shuttle in Boston that's been good.

I would just do a cab..taxis are plenty at Logan...and it's not that far to your hotel.

Hotel near the common....very nice!!!

Very nice and very expensive!! But, my friend and I decided it was worth the cost to be centrally located.

I priced out a taxi, based on the rates listed at the airport website and it will be a bit more expensive than a shuttle. Anyone familiar with the Zebra Shuttle (now known as Ultimate Livery shuttle)? Looks pretty good, based on their website.

If you don't have tons luggage take the Silver Line to South Station and take a cab or walk from there. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency near Boston Common and walked down to the Silver Line to return to the airport.
The Silver Line is a bus but it operates like a subway with its own tunnel.

By the way, we only paid $70 for the Hyatt Regency downtown using Priceline.

If you're staying near the Common and don't mind public transportation you could take the subway. Near the common is either the Arlington or Boylston Green line stop...take that to Government Center and transfer to the Blue line and get off at the Airport stop...busses will take you to your terminal...otherwise I would forget a shuttle and just take a taxi.

Yes, if you don't mind - exactly what hotel? We will NOT stalk you; but if you'll tell us exactly where you're going, we can tell you the best way to get there.

In comparison, in December it cost me $21 (plus an awesome tip, by choice, for an awesome driver :)) to get from Logan to Central Square in Cambridge - about three or four times as far as you'll probably be going.

If you don't want to post the hotel publicly, you can PM me - and while I don't have the right to speak for the other posters in this thread, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they'd be willing to help via PM as well.
