Stayed Thursday through Sunday (3 nights) on points. Lovely, elegant hotel. Expensive use of points, but that's why I have them - LOL! Loved Boston - very nice to Southerners (I assume they are nice to everyone). Hope to go back and spend more time sightseeing. So much to do and see it is incredible - and the food!!! Any questions about the hotel - please ask.

I'm glad to hear a report on this hotel. I've been trying to get my brother and sister-in-law to use my points for a stay here (their daughter goes to Northeastern).

Glad you enjoyed Boston Harbor Hotel. The dining is one of our family's favorite, we've done many Thanksgiving and Christams brunch/dinners in the Rowes Wharf Restaurant. We Bostonians are very friendly, glad you had a good time!

Our DS graduates NEU this June.

Now, that should be a reason for a WDW celebration! :)Congratulations to your son.

My niece is in her third year. She's a co-op student so she's got two more to go!

He and his GF are using our points for a spring break trip to VWL starting next Sunday.

He finishes his last co-op on Friday, starts his last 1/4 of classes when he gets back from WDW.

For graduation weekend we thought about the Harbor, but the points total was TOO HIGH. We're staying at the Radisson instead, using our GOLDPOINTS that we started saving up 5 yrs ago.

Candace did you stop at Mike's pastry shop in the North End?

A must do when you visit Boston. They made my parents wedding cake 44 years ago and the place is always packed. Not too far from the BHH either.

I hope you had a water view and not a view of the wonderful BIG DIG!

I was ao disappointed that we could not stay on points during our upcoming school reunion in June. Because of many college graduations that weekend, it was a blackout date. We'll be at the Park Plaza, instead.

I can't wait to get back to Boston! I loved my time there as a student. Glad you enjoyed it.

anniet - I saw Mike's, but we did not go in; still too full from Legal Seafoods! Unfortuneately, we did a city view, so we looked out upon the Big Dig. But NO noise from the street. We couldn't get over how quiet the hotel was.

Well if you were there last Thursday during the snowstorm, Candace, I'm surprised you didn't hear me cussing as I drove by!!!!!!!

You'll have to put Mike's on your list for your next visit! Glad you had a great time.

I am glad to hear that a southerner liked our food. At first I thought my husband and I were just very picky, but I think we are spoiled. I don't know if you had a chance to eat in the North End, which is just like eating in Italy. Ever since the first time we visited WDW, my husband and I have been disappointed with the food. We are still disappointed, but we feel that WDW has improved tremendously over the years. The food at WDW was one of the reasons why we bought into DVC. I wanted the kitchen to cook, but we could only afford 1 bedroom villas offsite. I am glad that we are spoiled (or picky), because we may not be DVC'rs today if it wasn't for the food at WDW.

P.S. I agree with Annie about Mike's. What are some of the other restaurant's that you tried? Grille 23? Captial Grille? The Palms? Flemings?
