We are going to WDW in July which I am really excited about We booked a week in July - the 21st to the 28th. It wasn't until after I bought our tickets with JetBlue did I realize we are coming home during the National Democratic Convention We are arriving at 8:30 at night. Am I still going to be able to get out of the city and get home to Cape Cod? We are keeping our car at the Holiday Inn Logan and the woman I spoke to seems to thinks we will still be able to get through the tunnel to 93 to home. They keep announcing road closures so I am very nervous. I am almost crazy enough to be thinking of extending our stay until Friday so we can bypass the convention. Please tell me I am being crazy

The Ted Williams Tunnel will be open so you should be all set. Worst case you'd have to take the Pike to 128 to get home but I think 93 will be open south of the Ted Williams Tunnel. It should be a breeze going home because noone will be able to get to that section of 93!

You should have no problem taking the Ted Williams tunnel they are not planning on closing that, only the highway that runs very close to the fleet center. so going from the TWT to rt3 and get home to the cape should no problem.
