Hi,

We have a family trip to the cape cod area planned for 11/14-11/16th
looking for some ideas as to what to do. We will be hitting plymouth at least one of the days but need ideas for what to do the two others. We were thinking of driving to Salem. Any and all suggestions would help.
thanks

Are you staying on Cape or in Boston? The Cape this time of year is not completely shut down but it is off-season so there are some restaurants and smaller businesses that have shut down for the season. However, I would suggest going down to Chatham, or going to the National Sea Shore a bit further down.

boston: Museum of science, childrens museum, aquarium, Quincy Market, Freedom trail ( might be a little chilly to walk this ), Duck boat ( not sure if they are still running them ) , trolley tour ( also not sure about this time of year ), the observatory in the top of the prudential center.

There is a LOT to do in boston, as PP said not a whole lot on the cape this time of the year.

Hyannisport - JFK Museum.. Large candle factory..
Ocean Spray factory while in Plymouth..

It's going to be pretty cold in November, so I would lean more towards indoor sites..

Have fun!
