Hi everyone:
We're not traveling until next August but I like to plan and book things as far in advance as I possibly can.
I just booked us on Song (Delta Express) at a rate of $215. per person. It's non-stop, and they had the times I wanted.
When I started to check all the airlines to see who would have the best rate, I noticed that some of the airlines don't have non-stops from BOS to MCO anymore. The ones that did have flights to MCO, including a stop in another city, were more money. When did this happen?? When we flew in May 2001, we were able to fly on USAir, NON-stop. Now they, as well as many other airlines, only offer service with a stop in another city, which I am not willing to do.
I know that a decent rate from BOS is in the $200 price range, and since we're flying back on a holiday weekend (Labor Day weekend next year), I didn't want to take a chance of prices going up, or missing out on the flight times I wanted.
Did I do the right thing then, in booking Song for $215??
