borrowing question....complicated

if my use year is feb. and I want to book a trip for june 2009 that I have to borrow from 2010 for........is it possible to go ahead and book the trip now or do I have to wait until my new use year in feb to do that?

does that make sense?

You just have to have the points available at the time of the reservation, not at the time you make the reservation. So for June 09, you can make that now, even if you have to borrow Feb 2010 points.

UY month has nothing to do with when you can call to book a trip. you can call 11 months out for your home resort or 7 months for any DVC resort regardless.

you could have called in july 2008 to book june 2009 and borrowed pts from 2010 even back then.

so yes, call right now...

yep. if you borrow pts from 2010 to make the reservation, they have to stay in your 2009 UY and will expire jan 31, 2010.

both borrowing and banking are final transactions and cannot be reversed.
