borrowing points

We have just found out that we are not able to keep our
reservations for FEB,02.We had booked a 2Bdr villa with
banked,current year and 15 pts.(borrowed)form next year.
When we cancel what will happen to the borrowed pts?

The borrowed points may not be returned to their original use year and cannot be banked. They will expire at the end of the current use year if you can't find another way to use them.

If you have no other trips planned you might want to try to rent those points on the rent/trade board here at DIS.

All those points (borrowed, banked and current as of Feb 02) will stay in the use year that the reservation was for. The ones that would have been your current use year can be banked into the following year (as long as you cancel at least 30 days before the trip), but the ones that were banked and borrowed cannot be moved again.

As Buckylarue says, you can only bank the current Use Year points that were used (if you cancel 31 days or more before the reservation begins). However, you also need to be within the banking deadlines for your Use Year to determine how many, if any, of those points can be banked. The borrowed and previously banked points must be used by the end of this Use Year.
