Borrowing points

Can anyone provide information on borrowing points when you have already banked points this year? We were at Boardwalk in February. Our use year is December. We banked the remainder of our points, but today found out that we have an opportunity to go back this year in November. I know that we can't get this year's points out of the bank, but can we borrow from next year's points?

Since your Use Year is December just remember that the points you borrow for the November trip need to be used by the end of November. (Just in case you cancel this trip.) Also, if you had to cancel the DVC trip and wanted to use the points for a non-DVC point trip, you would have to make the reservations by the end of September.
