My head is beginning to spin--I think I'm thinking about this too hard, so I'll just ask to clear it up. We are planning a trip in December, so I'd like to make the ressies at the 11 month window. I will need to borrow some points from 2005, but my current use year begins in March. Will I have to wait until March 1 to make the reservations, or will I be able to make them in Jan? If I do have to make them in March, do you think I'll have trouble securing a 2 BR at BCV the week before Christmas?

Thanks in advance for any replies!!

No, you do not have to wait.

We got our November 2004 reservations a couple of weeks back; our use year is February, and to make the full reservation we needed to borrow points from Feb 2005. No Problem

Also, if you make ressies right at the 11 month window, you should not have too many availability problems. If you are worried, reserve day-by-day, right at 9:00 AM Eastern time.

good luck.

If you call at 11 months out you will have an excellent chance of getting your request at x-mas time, as pumpkinboy stated above.

Always nice to see a fellow "buckeye" on the boards.

WOO-HOO!! GO BUCKS, FOR SURE!! LOL, we are avid fans!

Anyways, thanks for the replies! I am really glad to hear that I can go ahead & borrow pts at 11 mo window! We were down last year between Christmas & New Year's...definitely busy, but we didn't have any trouble getting ressie (of course, that was before BCV was sold out). We are going in June (DD is marching down Main Street, USA with her dance team :D ), and we figured if we went again before Christmas & then again in Spring, 2005, we would get our $$ worth out of an annual pass! I was tickled to see that the points for the week before Christmas are lower! Ahh, now I can continue the planning! Happy New Year!! :earsboy:

Go BUCKS!!.

You are going to love the week before Christmas. We were there this year Dec 12th - 20th. The parks were not crowed at all except the last day on the 19th. If you have extra $$ you may condiser Mickey's Very Merry x-mas party. This was the first year we attended and loved it. I'm glad to see you'll be able to take advantage of your annual pass. That's the great thing about DVC:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl:
