Good thing I subscribe to this thread! I never would have found it.
Hey, I need some suggestions. My Sunday school class is going through a rough transition. We used to be a very tight-knit group, but we have become disconnected over the last year. We're having a class meeting in the morning, and we would like some ideas. We're losing our teacher (moving), so our choices are to disolve the class, another teacher step up, or merge with another class. All of us want to stay together. One member has agreed to teach through the end of summer. She'll be great! But we still have the problem of being disconnected. We plan things, like potlucks, keno games (for the ladies), etc, and everyone seems interested, but most people end up cancelling at the last minute.
I would very much appreciate any input you have to offer, and would appreciate prayers for us, too. I love these people, and they are the reason my husband decided to start coming to church (and soon got saved!). I would hate to lose what little connection there is left, but I'm so FRUSTRATED!
Thanks in advance for your help.

The doctors told her that she would probably lose the baby if she kept it. Doctors also told her that she would never be able to get pregnant again and they were wrong about that.

We're doing Beth moore's Wising Up series right now (on Sunday nights). So far, it is really good. Different than most of hers as it has no homework. I actually miss the homework because it helps guide me in a "dig". If you ever get a chance to do a Beth Moore study, take it! They are very, very good.
