I was going to post here about how things have been lately, it would have been extremely long!
Here's the short of it:
My uncle Joe finally went home after 6 months or so of hospital and nursing home rehabilitation. He's still having difficulties though, but he has to gain more strength before they can do any other operation on him....
My MIL (Judy) is still in the hospital. She's had many difficulties, but I believe the main one was her calostamy (sp?) had separated and was basically poisoning her. After they found that and started dealing with it, she gained quite a bit of strength and was able to be moved to the rehab facility at the hospital. Unfortunately, they had to move her back to a regular floor because they found she has an infection somewhere and had to give her antibiotics...
The kids and I have been planning on visiting Thurs/Fri this week if she was up to it. She says she's still up to it, but unfortunately it will only be my dd and me. ds has a sore throat and is now running a fever
(and dh has WAY too many services to be ready for this weekend!) I also found out yesterday that my SIS left her husband. Her and my niece are now living with grandma, and it looks as though it may be for the long haul...
OK, well this got long even despite my attempt to keep it short. Please pray as God leads you in these situations. It's been a difficult few months.
