This is a long shot but I'm hoping that people who live in Niagara Falls/Fort Erie might be able to answer this question. I'm planning to cross the Peace Bridge on Easter Monday at around 6:00 p.m. and I'm wondering what the wait might be like.
I know that on statutory holidays attached to long weekends that the wait can be hours (a friend once crossed the bridge at the end of the Victoria Day long weekend and waited 4 hours).

Get Nexus cards for the entire group that is going with you that day and cross at the Whirlpool Bridge instead. Wait time should be minimal.

Just check the border wait times before you go, We travel over the borders every couple of weeks. I know the times are longer on holidays but, the Monday is not a holiday for everyone. Also, in the pm it shouldn't be as bad as going in the morning. Do, however give yourself plenty of time. I generally use this site.....

Very few people have that as a holiday and I would think most would be coming back INTO Canada.

I would check the Sabres Hockey schedule though, if there is a game at 7 or 7:30 it could be very busy at that time.

Thanks for your responses. I should have been clearer though. I will be crossing from Buffalo back into Canada on the 6th. I will be arriving at the Buffalo airport at 5:00.

Wait time should be under 15 minutes. With the low dollar, cross border shopping isn't as popular right now.
