Boozin’ It Up 12/5-12/7 coming ASAP

So I called Desert Inn to change my ETA for Thursday the 5th, and this time I was told that there is someone in the check-in area for 24 hours! I wish the last person had told me that, because I was freaking out that we wouldn't be allowed to arrive so late.

I made my Priority Seating for Carnation Cafe on Friday March 6th at 11:50am, and for Rainforest Cafe on Friday March 6th at 5:30pm. My checklist is growing smaller.

Woo hoo! Be sure and let me know your opinion on Carnation. I was so sick when I went in 2007 I let my niece and kids go without me. I am so going in December so that I can enjoy the Potato Soup.

Wow! Your posts just ooze excitement. lol Happy almost birthday!

I love that I'm not the only anal overplanner. I've been plannig our end of March trip since August. :surfweb: As soon as I found out what it was gonna cost for the kid to to on choir tour and that it was the same cost for chaperones. Um, 1200 for 4 days in Chicago or less than half that for 4 days in Disneyland. That's a no brainer. lol I don't have a binder, but I do have everything in excel. No need to write and rewrite that way. :cool2: I even printed up and bound a little booklet for my friend who's going with me so she'd know what to expect and what to pack. I know, it's pathetic. She was highly amused to say the least. BUT.. she hasn't been to the park in 25 years so there's a lot to pack into our trip.

We like the Desert Inn BTW. It's our usual pick. We are going with HOJO this time around though just because of the price break. Although, I haven't compared hotel costs lately so that may change. hehe

We plan to grab a corn dog for the Red Cart when we first enter the park on our first day. It'll be lunchtime after all. We'll be doing early entry on Saturday so I made my PS for Carnation that morning. Love their breakfasts.

That's me. Anal planner to the end. We are going in December and I am planning away. I am so gonna have one of those corn dogs too. And a Wetzel's pretzel dog. The pretzel dog is SOOOOOOO good.

I have corndogs down for our Saturday dinner...bad dinner? Oh well. It's Disneyland!

Well, you could always get fresh fruit to go with it at one of the fresh fruit stands. That would make it a more well round thing if you are concerned.:goodvibes

Think I'll just sit here drinking my coke & eating popcorn popcorn:: to watch this...... :rotfl: When on vacation....splurge..... corn dogs sound good to me!!! :thumbsup2

Gradually over the past few weeks, I have been buying items necessary for the trip. Is it weird that way back in November I bought a pair of pants only because they would make great pants for Disneyland? Yes it is, but I don’t mind admitting it. They’re too big now :(

Something else I wanted to find was a bag that I could carry my stuff in, but that wouldn’t be too big and get in my way. I’d been looking around wherever I go, getting an idea of what I needed. I just recently found a super cute crossover bag at Target. Here It is:

The colors and design are fun and I love the three zippered compartments. A very good sized bag.

See, it’s adorable! Don’t mind my messy room…woops.

I also picked up some clothing items to wear.

LGTT(Lime Green Tank Top) anyone? The t-shirt is from Hot Topic and I am in love with it. The Polka Dot Hoodie and Striped Tank are from Old Navy. On sale now!

My birthday gift for myself this year was a new digital camera. I have had the Canon Powershot SD 600 for many years and I was in need of an upgrade. I researched for a while on what I wanted to buy. Every camera I’ve owned has been a Canon and I have had no problems with them so I am going to stay loyal. I really wanted more mega pixels but still have it be affordable. I ordered the Canon Powershot SD880 two weeks ago.

It has 10 mega pixels which is a nice update from my 6. It has a large screen and 4 x zoom. I don’t know much else about cameras other than that. I just want my pictures to look nice. So that’s a winner J. Also if I’m getting a new camera, I’m going to get a new case and some new memory cards. So there :P

I wouldn't be sad about the pants......better they be too big than too small!! ;)

The bag is very cute!!! (all 3 pics of it) :lmao:

You're like me, like to take pics, but don't really know much about cameras. My camera is just a 5.0 megapixel, but I've gotten some really nice pics out of it. My hubby says I need to get a new one with more megapixels, but I'll wait at this point. My philosophy is....if it ain't broke, don't fix it!! :rotfl:

I'm going to now pretend like I don't know what you are talking about. Doo dee dooo...

Cute stuff you have collected. The bag is adorable. At your age the fact that the pants are big now might be annoying. Aren't tight pants the rule now? Love the shirt the LGTT will look really cute with the hoodie. One of my girls is a Chesire Cat fan. Actually an Alice in Wonderland fan. We didn't see that shirt last time we were at Hot Topics. Hmm.

There are 3 Alice In Wonderland shirts there right now! Also on the website. Just type "disney" into the search box.

I know I need to get her the Rocky Horror Show one. That is her favorite movie, some bad older person corrupted her. I wonder who? Hmmm:rotfl:
