What? You have a tag about your "sister" and some guy's boxers, but you never mention an older sister in your posts. You do talk alot about two younger "sisters." How can people not be curious about that?

Actully I have mentioned her alot. She and I arnt that close anymore, so GOSH I dont about her as much as the little ones I love. Dont worry. Its gone.

I always LOVED "The Phantom Tollbooth". I can't think of who wrote it off the top of my head, but I actually just ordered it for my sister (who's 9.5) today from Barne's and Noble for about 7$. I read it when I was younger and still LOVE it. It's actually about a Boy named Milo and he travels to this other world...but it teaches you about language (like the difference between weather and whether) and such...without you realizing it. AWESOME book.

Wow. OP I had no intention of "calling you out" or insulting you at all. I just thought the tag came across as pretty funny in the context of this thread and I was curious, so I asked a question. I have reread my posts and just cannot see why you think they (or others on the thread) are something to get worked up about, make you feel "done with people" and remove a tag over I think tags are an awesome little "gift" here on the DIS and I cannot imagine removing mine (in spite of the fact that they imortalize my inability to type!). If I came across as rude or insensitive I apologize as it was certainly not my intent I just wanted to give you some good ideas of books to buy your younger sister/cousin and saw something interesting so asked about it while I was at it. Honestly, my feelings are a bit hurt that you would take a simple and innocent question and turn it into an issue in this way (not hurt much--this is just a message board and I do have a life, but I am a little miffed none the less).

If I can manage to remember who you are (I am terrible with "keeping track" of posters--nothing personal against you; I find everyone equally forgetable lol) I will probably follow december's lead and not post on your threads anymore since you seem the style I post in comes across very differently to you than what I intend it to.

Anyway, good luck with the Christmas shopping. I do sincerely hope that you find something the little girl will love reading.

Goodness, I really don't know what happened on your other threads to cause you to feel this way; whatever it was I haven't seen it I hope you change your mind and do continuie to enjoy the DIS.
Personally, having joined the DIS only three months after you did. I have noticed any more or less "magic" overall--though some days are more fun than others. The only changes I have noticed were the new rule about no politics/religion, and that it seems more and more posters whom I enjoy reading (when I rememeber someone) seem to be disapeering. I'll suddenly notice I have not seen a post from so and so with the such and such photo in their avatar in a long time, so then I start looking for them and after a month or so I figure they have moved on. I think or at least I assume that most of those posters just get bored and go on with life or find new message boards. I hope they do not feel like they were being "called out" and mistreated and had to leave. It seems like you are feeling somehow harrassed and like someone is trying to run you off. I truly hope that is not the case Anyway, I have never disliked you or wanted you gone and I do not know anoyone else who has. I hope whatever you do you are happy with
