Just managed to book Horse Riding for Friday 22nd Aug-had to do at 90 day point. That's us complete with planning now! Must start packing

Tracy - the riding is at Disney's Fort Wilderness resort - although I'm sure the minimum age is 9.

There are other places near Kissimmee that you can go horse riding too - but I don't know the names. Sorry!

We are doing the Disney Horse Trail Ride-sorry can't remember minimum age-just relived I'm OK with weight limit . I found it on the Disney web-site under Recreation at Fort Wilderness. They also offer 'pony rides' for younger guests. Ring 001407 9397529 for details, the Trail Ride starts at the kennels at the Fort Wilderness car-park, lasts aprox 45 mins. Not sure where the pony rides are from - I'll see if I can find out.

Yes minimum age is 9, just checked. Pony rides appear to be at Tri Circle D ranch. This is link (if I've posted it correctly!)

hey can i come, i love to ride!
am looking at doing it off site as the on site ones are quite tame, i rode alot as a kid, and am slowly getting back into it (was my motivation to lose weight)
are you doing this after the aug meet or before cause you might look like john wayne,lol

We're not experienced-so slow will suit me fine .We're doing on 22nd Aug so will be after the meet, which is perhaps a good idea. We're at Epcot early the next day-just hope I'll still be able to walk
