My parents recently moved to FL and I was wondering if I would run in to any problems if they booked a room at the FL rate for us? I know they would have to be present at check in and the room keys would have their name on it. As long as we don't use the room key for charging I don't see that there would be a problem.

I'm sure there are people out there who will accuse you of cheating, but no, you won't have any problems. My mom was a Florida resident, and we did the same thing. Actually, now that I think about it, I think she was with us almost every night anyway!

Enjoy the trip!

I am not quite sure if this is your question, but my mother is a Florida resident and I booked our Nov. AKL trip in her name, but told the CM on the phone that it was a treat from me and I would be paying. They said that it would be no problem at all! At check in it was as easy as can be! We received our two room cards, both put on my credit card, and an upgrade! I had been trying every day to switch our reservations from the pool view which was the highest level I could reserve at her rate, to savannah view. The CM at the desk kept on hiding the map from me when doing check in, knowing I was dying to know our location! LOL We were at the end of Zebra Trail, on the Uzima savannah. We felt like we were the only people out there and that it was OUR savannah. It was so peaceful!

Happy planning!
Debbie
