Booking with Costco, another TA, or on Disney Website?

Would love some advice for booking my first Disney Cruise. When the new itineraries open up we are looking to book a Halloween on the High Seas out of San Diego in Sept or Oct. We will be booking for a child who is not yet born so not sure if I would need to go through a TA to do this or if I can book online and just change the info once he's actually here in a few months (He will be 1+year at time of sailing) I am wondering if I should book through Costco to get the costco gift card, or if it would be better to use a TA who offers onboard credit.. or just through Disney? We also have the Disney Visa Card and were planning to get discounted Target gift cards to pay as well. I want to get the most bang for our buck because I am now going to be stay at home mom and we are down to one income, but this is going to be a special trip for our honeymoon as well as first cruise and first family vacation. Please spam me with all your helpful advice on booking with a TA, costco, disney, and using target gf or disney visa etc. Thanks!

Costco is great with the Costco cash card at the end of cruise we get in the mail. Beats the on board credit you will receive from

If you book with Costco, you'll get a costo cash card after your cruise. If you book with a TA that gives on board credit, you'll get on board credit while you are on the cruise. If you book directly with Disney, you pay the same as the first 2 options, but you get nothing in the way of money back (no cash card, no on board credit).

I see no point in not getting OBC or a useful gift card. If you're Costco people and not cloth diapering, I can come up with some utility for that card easy...

Costco is super great to work with . The 8% cash card you get back is always so nice. They can handle gift cards and the Disney Visa without any difficulties.
