Booking with another DVC Member

I was hoping a fellow DVC'r would know if I can do this.

My sister and I would like to share a two bedroom at BCV in February. Together we have enough point to rent the whole reservation. I know we can transfer points to one account or the other. The only problem is we aren't 100% sure we all will be able to go at that time and we don't want to mix our points if we can't all go.

So the way our points work we could book back to back. I can book the first three nights on my remaining points in my use year and she can book the last two with hers. So my question is can we book individually the exact same accommodation (BCV 2 bedroom) and then call member services to link the reservations so we don't have to switch rooms/ We would put all our names on both reservations.

Is this possible?

Yes you can do what you are planning.
When you call MS to "link" them you need to use the words "Travel With #".
Each of you will need to call, chat, or e-mail MS and place a "Travel with" notice on BOTH reservations of the other reseervation number. This way the CM doing room assignments know that you are together and what you are requesting.

I've done exactly that and linked them. It was treated as one reservation when we checked in.

I thought Travel With was for two or more reservations at the same place and requesting they be close to each other. I think you need to link them.
