We are wanting to book a trip for October 2015 and want to book it through AAA. The only problem is the last time I did this, the agent knew not a thing about Disney. I was teaching her things and I didn't at all like that. Are there any AAA Disney specialist agents on here that can help me or do I have to go through someone local? TIA

I booked through a AAA Magic Creator, she was great. Not local to me, another mom recommended her to me. She lives in NY, I'm in WI. She is on facebook, her name is Amy, she has a page for her trip booking. Not sure if I'm allowed to state specifics on here

Is there any reason why you want to book through AAA? As far as I know, Disney has pretty much severed their ties with AAA and they no longer get any special perks more so than any other travel agent. If you want to use a travel agent, I would just use one of the many companies out there that specialize in Disney travel.

Do we have to book through a AAA agent to get a member discount? Or can I book online and then add my AAA number later?

2015 rates were just released and it was announced that AAA discounts will no longer be accepted. You may want to either book yourself and look for deals or use a Disney specialist anyway. There are several, but I'm not sure we are allowed to post them.

Why not just book yourself. It's pretty easy and then you have everything they way you want it. Keep an eye on the MouseSavers website. They post all of the current deals on the front page of the site and adjusting/adding any discount is as easy as a quick phone call.

Hello. I have a quick question about AAA room only rates. I was told when I called Disney that they are still in negotiations with AAA about room only rates and to call back in a few months. Has anyone else gotten this information too? Thank you!

Thanks for all of the responses. The main reason we like to book with AAA is for the diamond parking pass. We have a double stroller that is a pain to get on and off the shuttle from the parking lot so it's much easier for us to just park close and walk.

Hi uramr,
I got the same information from my AAA TA. So different source, same info. Let's hope they can work something out.

I know some people have gotten them on ebay (for $10-30), though that is against the rules stated on the pass (they are non-transferable). We will also be bringing a double stroller and I have thought about finding a way to get the diamond pass. I also think I read that you only need to buy your tickets through AAA to get the pass, not the whole package. But, if you are doing a package with disney that won't help (especially if you are hoping for free dining).

I have a friend who works at AAA main corporate office and she told me last night that no discounts. I figure with the internet and foreign money exchange allowing more tourists they don't need to give AAA discounts. I found more times than most I could get a better deal then AAA any ways.
