What is the chance to book a vacation in August for early November - looking at a studio at AKL - unsure of week but it would not be Thanksgiving.

Also booking at same time for a week at the end of January - Studio or 1 Bedroom.

Not a member yet and cant join till August but didnt know if we joined if we would be able to find rooms for those timeframes.

How do you plan to become a member, direct or resale?

Direct - probably. Points are available almost immediately and if you let your guide know you need a particular reservation they most likely could pull a few strings to get it for you.

Resale - probably not. Resales usually take 6-8 weeks from offer to points available in your membership for booking. This would also require passing ROFR on the first try.

For November, some chance for week beginning 11/14 or 11/15. IMO, almost zero chance for any other time in November, especially if you want consecutive nights in the same villa.

First part of the month is Jersey Week. Week of Thanksgiving through first week of December is pretty much booked solid the last time I looked.

Plan on SSR and if you can get anything else, consider yourself lucky. Waitlists do work, but November (other than the week I mentioned) is very popular.

You have a much better chance for the end of January. It's not as popular and you have longer for a waitlist to work if you need one.

Thanks, was looking at resale and est that we would close around 1st week of August. Sounds like we may have to adjust some plans
