Booking w/a Code Question

Hello!

I was wondering, if I happen to get a pin code and I book a trip, can I make changes to that trip (add or adjust dates or add a second room) later and apply that discount to the new days or room? Basically, do I need to be 100% certain about the dates and number of rooms before I use the code?

My parents are thinking about joining us and I need to know if I need to make them decide ASAP if we get a code.

Yes you can make changes like adding a room (usually PIN codes are for up to 3 rooms) person. The room you already have booked HAS to be avail though for the PIN. We had 2 Woods view booked with a 40% off PIN for Feb. When the AP rates came out 45% off no rooms were avail for woods or Standard for our dates. So, what I'm saying is yes, they can apply it but you might have to change your room and or resort to get the PIN offer for your dates. I wouldn't rush them, you have to have the PIN in order to book it. If you're going anyway, just book it,but if depending on getting a PIN (which really isn't something carved in stone) I really wouldn't bother. There can be GP codes out there as well for your trip (also depends if avail for your resort/room types) Really the PINs/codes are for rooms not yet sold that WDW is trying to sell.

We're going anyway, but will upgrade rooms if we get a good pin. Parents are undecided regardless of cost. What I am most concerned about is getting a pin, booking one room and then needing to add on another room later. I'll want to book ASAP if I get a pin, but if I do and don't book a room for them, I don't want to lose the discount on that second room.

Again, this is hypothetical and I'm jinxing myself by even thinking about this.

you can book the 2 rooms and cancel if necessary up to 6 days before your stay if room only. You will have to give a 1 night stay deposit for each room. That's I guess the best thing to do.
