Booking virgin seats

Hi

Today is my 90 days out - yay!!! My flight is at 11:15 - am I right in thinking that I can't select my seats until 11:15 today i.e. EXACTLY 90 days?? I've just tried to do it online but it says not available on all the available seats???

I saw someone say 8:00 am on day 90.. Please let me know because I need to do this dance on Monday.

Keep trying! I was told I couldn't booked them until 11:15am by someone who worked at virgin! When I went on the all the good seats were taken already! I then called again to ask why I was told incorrect information, to be told I should have started looking at 8am!

Ok I phoned Virgin at 9am on our 90 day window our flight is 11 am to and he managed to book our seats. This was just a few weeks ago. We booked through a Virgin store and I just up the advisor who dealt with our booking but they also have a general contact number. We even got bubble seats but he did tell me they only release about 60% of seats prebook.Also if you decide to try to book yourself don't do it on smart phones it won't work .good luck!

We also had problems but we realised it was the iPad. We had to go onto a laptop to do it instead.

Start trying from 90 days and 5 hours, it seems possible that they are released at any time after that point.

I'm fairly sure you've already done it but, for future info, you can usually book seats from 8am 90 days out. You won't be able to book seats for your return flight until 90 days before the inbound flight date though.

Yay!!! I decided to give its try at 8am and got the upstairs seats I wanted. So pleased. Thank you for all your helpful responses xx
