hello,

Has anyone booked their holiday through the U.S. Site before? They have some fabulous deals on, but I was just wondering what people's experiences of this were? I have booked many times through the UK site and have stayed at many Disney hotels, I only need advice on using the U.S. Site, not about prices or where to stay.

Thanks

It's pretty much the same as booking through the UK site, except you book through the US one. If you are booking a promotional deal, make sure that you click through the link within that offer to ensure you get the deal attached to your booking. As long as you read the terms and conditions (which vary slightly from the UK) there's nothing special you need to know. Up until 45 days out, you should be refunded the deposit in the event that you cancel your reservation. Just check on that, as I've not checked the US site for a while and things may have changed. The US booking system is a lot more flexible than the UK site. Generally the best all round deals are if you book on the UK site well in advance, as soon as the following year's deals are listed, however there are some great US based offers and if you are booking at short (or shorter) notice, these are likely to work better for you. Do a comparison for both, but there's no reason to be concerned about booking through the US.

One more thing - when paying, if you have one, use a fee free credit card to avoid foreign currency charges.
