Booking via other countries site?

Hello all very quick q if I may.

I remember long ago someone telling me that if you spot a better offer on the German or French site you can still book it and just change the country and address to your home country at booking info entry time. Is this correct?

Got a friend looking to book and spotted a far better offer for them on the German site for the dates they want to go.

Yeah, I was actually looking at all the terms and conditions before booking and it specifically says in there that you can book from a different location's specials! Pretty neat!

You can also request it by phone. The technical name for this is “using a cross-offer”.

I just booked yesterday on the German site and had no problems whatsoever, got all my confirmation details through and looks great. The deal is so good that we're finally going to stay in the DLH for the first time!
