Booking VB 4 Thanksgiving @ 7 mos.?

We would love to extend our Disney vacation by adding M-F prior to Thanksiving to our currently booked ressies at BCV F-F 2bdrm. We are not VB owners. I searched DIS but found no matches. Any VB Thanksgiving regulars out there that might know if a 2 bdrm ressie will be impossible to book at 7 months? Has anyone done this and had a waitlist come thru?

I just did the cottage at Vero for Thanksgiving, INCREDIBLE!!! We booked that at the 11 month mark. A week or so before I needed to start my stay a couple of days early and I got 2 Inn rooms. If I got that the week before I think you should be okay at the 7 month mark!!

Several years ago I got two inn rooms at about 4 months out. There were no 2 BRs available at that time. You probably should be able to get something to meet your needs at 7 months.

I know you want Thanksgiving, but I want to give you some hope. We have gotten VB at the 7 month window for Spring Break for the past 2 years. Spring Break seems to be a very popular time for VB, so I think you will be OK for Thanksgiving. Some Pixie dust for you.

The Thanksgiving buffet at VB is wonderful. Plan on booking this early as slots fill up quickly.

Thanks for that tidbit, we have been deciding if we want to switch the last couple days of our Thanksgiving trip to VB.

Do you call VB direct for booking the buffet or MS?

We always call the resort directly. They can give options on the room to dine in (Shutters or Sonya's), table size, etc. New last year was the ability to make dining reservations six months in advance. Holidays would be the only time this is necessary and this is only so because of the many locals who dine at VB, particularly on Thanksgiving.
