Booking Two Poly Studios at Once?

Has that been explicit?

I haven't seen where they've actuall said the studios will connect. But they have said that all the new DVC rooms at GF will be studios. So unless they plan on completely tearing down all the interior walls and rebuilding all the rooms, those rooms are going to have connecting doors between them. Given the stated time-frame, I don't see them changing the basic structure of the existing rooms.

Now, of course, they *could* seal off those doors, but I don't see them doing that.

I agree. I’m sure they’ve kept, data on number of requests for connecting rooms at all resorts, not just Poly DVC, and know they could use it as a selling point. I can hardly wait, though, to find out whether and how a “resort studio” is a different beast from a “deluxe studio.”

Agree and I too expect they will be connecting. It's also the only way to somewhat offset not offering 2BR's much like PVB did by having every studio connect to another so that the connecting studio request is virtually a guarantee.

Yes to this! I'm wanting to book at BRV or CCV next October but have to do it 7 months out. Yes, fall frenzy!!! I would prefer to book two studios as opposed to a 1-BR, and I will have to borrow to book. My fear is that I book one studio and then can't get another, and then by the time I try to modify the one studio to a 1-BR, it will be gone, too.
I will be stunned if you get 1 studio at CCV, let alone 2.

I'm sure you are right. I've gotten one studio before at 7 months out for October. But I'm just thinking if I can get one at BRV and then if there are no more, I could try for one at CCV. But the OP asked about booking Poly, so I don't want to get off-topic. I was just stating that it's good to know that you can open another window to book the second room.

I would guess that if the applicable hotel rooms already connect, that type of arrangement will also be in the new studios, and if they do not connect, the studios probably will not either. Do the hotel rooms in the applicable building to be converted currently connect, or at least most of them?

I have read that they do already connect. Have not personally stayed in that building though.
