OK, we've narrowed it down to three options:

The Polynesian
The Grand Floridian
The Beach Club

This is a graduation (ME!!! from Univ. of OK), birthday (6th and 3rd), anniversary (51st for grandparents), late mother's day trip next may/june. We want something the kids will love (a girl and a boy), but the grandparents will also enjoy. We're leaning toward the Poly.

SUGGESTIONS!?!?!?!

EDITED:
Thanks for all your suggestions! I really needed a extra opinions!

AND THE WINNER IS...

6 nights and 7 days at...

The Polynesian

The Poly seems to be the most logical choice. Sounds like a wonderful trip.

Our favorite is the Grand Floridian, but all 3 are really wonderful resorts. The choice is really based on your personal preference. The GF is a Victorian-era themed resort, while the Poly is obviously South Seas/Polynesian-themed, while the Beach Club is very nautical, Hampton-esque in theme. I don't think you can go wrong with any one of those resorts...

My first choice is the beach Club - great locations for EPCOT & MGM or just sitting on the boardwalk and watching people walk by.

Also have a terrific pool for the kids.

my second would be the Poly

and i have no desire to stay at the GF

I vote Poly.

A volcano pool that the kids will love. Theming that is cool for all ages. Convenience of monorail to MK and Epcot. Can view fireworks and ELP from beach. Lots of dining options at the resort and close to many others. It also has the Neverland Club where the kiddies can play while the adults go out -- it is a Peter Pan theme -- the kids go in through a window just like on the Peter Pan ride.

p.s. Congrats on the graduation! My husband is from Oklahoma City -- LOVES the Sooners -- has been totally depressed all weekend over their loss to Colorado.

Grand Floridian, if I was celebrating anything that is where I would want to be. Oh so luxurious and wonderful kid's programs, a great snack food area, beautiful grounds, and the monorail.

We thing the GF is too stuffy for us but we love it in Dec.

BC tends to get super crowded

Poly is so beautiful and is home to the best breakfast around, KONA!

Total SnowWhite is also looking for a resort that the grandparents will enjoy too!

I though about this too. For the Grandparents, my first choice would have been BC because of proximity to Epcot. But with the monorail from Poly (via TTC) there is still direct access.

Just my thoughts. Sometimes they make sense.

My vote is for the Grand FLoridian!!

My children were 9 and 6 at that visit....they wanted to move and live in the GF!!! I like the Poly also..but that pool seems so crowded. Ok...my DH just got nosy looking over my shoulder....lol..He said no to GF and said...the Yacht Club!!! He liked it more than GF ...I liked them both for differant reasons!
Have fun..let us know what you decide:)

Have stayed at Polynesian, Grand Floridian (twice), and the Beach Club's sister resort Yacht Club (twice, booked again for January '08). All three are good choices but I'll mention a few things that might appeal to the older adults: at the GF you can sit in the lobby each evening and hear a wonderful band (think swing music/old standards) play, along with a pianist sometimes in the lobby. There is a full service hair salon and Spa for pampering, along with several high end boutiques for shopping. Monorail transportation to other resorts, transfer at TTC to EPCOT monorail. At Poly you have the luau available, along with a short walk to TTC for direct transport to EPCOT. At YC/BC you can walk to EPCOT as well as walk over to the Boardwalk and dine, enjoy the sights and shops. You can also walk over to Fantasia Gardens for mini golf. Stormalong Bay, the YC/BC pool, is an all day affair. BC also has a salon I think, as well as the Mandala Spa at the Swan/Dolphin. Swan/Dolphin has wonderful restaurants for fine dining. BC has Beaches & Cream for burgers and Ice Cream. Poly has 'Ohana. GF has Victoria & Alberts, Citricos and Narcoosies as well as 1900 Park Faire character meals. BC/YC has a boat to MGM. THis is a very hard decision. Maybe narrow it down by which parks you plan to spend the most time in or do a split stay?

I would narrow it to
The Poly
or
Beach Club

I would go for the Poly. Congrats on your academic accomplishment!
