Booking through Dreams Unlimited

For the first time I decided to book our trip "room only" through Dreams Unlimited. Did I make a good decision? Just looking for a little reassurance.

So give it to me straight. What has been your experince with them? Anyone ever have any problems like lost reservations?
If so what did you do?

I booked my upcoming trip at the Swan through DU. We leave in 8 days. I do know my ressie went through Swan's owner Starwood. I have had great service so far from my agent Bob. We had to make a few changes. We got all the PS's that we wanted and are looking forward to the trip.

I just booked my fourth trip through them, and am planning 5, 6 & 7 even as I type this. I've been very satisfied with their service, especially when I had to make a few changes in my arrangements. As long as they are in business, I can't imagine using any other travel agency for my Disney reservations. They handled all of my requests for PS's, getting me exactly the times that I wanted. They also keep an eye out for discounts and apply them without being reminded, so I don't have to worry about any of that! Our agent is Merrie, and she's been great--especially when we had some problems with our cruise docs last year (DCL's fault, not Dreams).

I'm using Dreams for my honeymoon, and I can't sing their praises highly enough.

Trisha's my agent, and she has been amazing. She got me an Illuminations Cruise, Cinderella's Royal table, and I got a postcard, and she got me the postcard rate.

I will absolutely be using them again!

I thought going through DU would be a pretty safe choice; especially since they are a sponsor here on the boards. I am just so used to booking everything myself. But, with a DD that is 2 I just have the time or energy to keep watching for all the new codes. Not to mention being on hold forever trying to make or change a reservation.

I know that they have saved me 20% off the rack rate thus far. I believe thay is a AAA discount. The codes for November and December haven't been released yet; so hoping to save more.

I will be sure to post my experience with everyone!

I'm using DU for my August trip. My agent Cathy is the best! I've made numerous changes to my plans for various reasons and she's always been very prompt and cheerful (strange how that comes across in an e-mail!) about all of them! She did a great job with my PS arrangements and she already had re-booked my room to take advantage of the August room discounts by the time I read my e-mails on the morning the discount codes came out. I can't say enough good things about my experience with DU so far!

I just got back from our trip last week. Marla was our DU agent and she did a great job. I changed my plans so many times I bet her head spinned. She was prompt and got me every PS I asked for in the times I wanted.


I will use them again for the next trip I plan.

I just spoke with Sandy and couldn't be happier. She is helping my plan our land (Carribean Beach) and Cruise (3-night) for next December. I am so excited. I can't recommend her enough. It is hard to give up some of that control of planning, but since I work full time, it is nice to have her to find the discounts for me. No Worries!!

We want to do a combo 3 day Universal on-site and 4 day Disney on-site next year. Will Dreams or Small World handle this type of package or only Disney? Thanks.

Dreams can do Universal packages also. You need to specifically request that in your notes section as there is not a request form for this yet. So yes, Dreams can do a split stay for you.
